Arm Lift

An incision is made along the inside of the arm, starting from the armpit towards the elbow, usually ranging from 15 to 30 cm in length, depending on the amount of tissue to be removed. Through careful preoperative planning and precise surgical technique, we strive to minimize unsightly scarring and other complications. For smaller corrections, incisions can be made in the armpit to avoid extensive scarring in the upper arm.

You can usually leave the clinic a few hours after the procedure. Oral pain medications help manage discomfort. Avoid strenuous physical activity for the first three weeks, but you can return to sedentary work in about a week. Sutures are dissolvable and not visible, eliminating the need for removal. The results from brachioplasty are long-term if there is no significant weight gain.
